I’m developing an Android app that allows users to easily configure their Audiomoth devices. The app will be available for free on the Google Play Store, and I’m looking for volunteers to help test it before the official release.
To participate in the testing, you’ll need:
A Google account (to access the app).
An Android device (phone or tablet).
From AudioMoth Firmware Basic 1.12.1 and the AudioMoth Configuration App 1.13.1, there have been a few enhancements to AudioMoth:
Improved energy consumption when using larger SD cards.
Improved precision of GPS time synchronisation for better localisation of sounds.
New configuration options for more flexibility when using slow SD cards, the acoustic chime, and external microphones.
In the AudioMoth Configuration App, you’ll find:
New ‘Advanced' options to extend file preparation time on lower SD cards.

However, I was surprised to be automatically (as far as I can tell) subscribed for email notifications for all posts.
I can turn them off, but may I suggest reconsidering having them turned on by default for all users? Many people will just ignore the emails or mark them as spam rather than manually unsubscribing, which will then tank your spam rating.

In the UK you can order directly from the UK Store - https://www.openacousticdevices.info/category/all-products. They ship from the UK and there is no duty to pay.
