From AudioMoth Firmware Basic 1.12.1 and the AudioMoth Configuration App 1.13.1, there have been a few enhancements to AudioMoth:

• Improved energy consumption when using larger SD cards.

• Improved precision of GPS time synchronisation for better localisation of sounds.

• New configuration options for more flexibility when using slow SD cards, the acoustic chime, and external microphones. 

  
  

• In the AudioMoth Configuration App, you’ll find:

  • New ‘Advanced' options to extend file preparation time on lower SD cards.

  • New ‘Advanced' options to require location in the acoustic chime.

  • New ‘Advanced' options to use the timezone from the acoustic chime.

  • New 'Add-ons' options to ignore external microphones for the acoustic chime.
