Can a small amount of water over the case microphone membrane cause it to record nothing?
The case was tilted back just slightly for a small amount of water to collect and cover the microphone opening on the case.

Hi Brian,
One of my Audiomoths in IPX7 case was hidden near a ditch. It was left there for ten days. When I collected it, it was half under water, mic in air. Inside was completely dry, and AM was still recording. When I checked the recordings, it had been completely under water for over 24h. Whilst under water, recordings were very faint. After 24h mic was apparently back in air and recordings were fine as always.
