AudioMoth Internal Clock Issues

Hi everyone,

I’ve been trying to use three AudioMoths since the end of April, but they’re all experiencing an issue with the internal clock. After configuration, they seem to lose track of time almost immediately. When switching to CUSTOM mode right after configuration, the red light stays solid while the green light flashes. Setting the time via the acoustic chime works temporarily, but the devices lose time again between recordings.

I’m running the latest firmware (1.12.1) and the newest version of the configuration app. Could I be missing something, or is this likely a hardware issue?

Hi, What make and model of battery and SD card are you using? This is most likely the SD card having a very high write current which is causing the AudioMoth to reset. Alex
