AudioMoth Configuration Issues

I am facing configuration issues for an AudioMoth (Audiomoth1) which is not updating the configuration file. Tried configuring two AudioMoth using the same settings (AudioMoth 2 configuration is say Config. 2). Though AudioMoth 1 had zero recording after the new configuration, it also had a blinking red light during the Config. 2 recording duration.
Also, currently the blinking green light awaiting recording period is not functional. What firmware can I use to get the same? Will changing the firmware affect AudioMoth performance?

Hi Siddharth, You should update the firmware to the newest version as version 1.8.1 is quite old now. Also make sure that you have an up to date version of the Config App. Then on both devices, first switch to DEFAULT and check that the AudioMoth makes an immediate recording which sounds okay. Check that both LED are working - green during USB operation and red flashing when recording. This will exclude any hardware issues. Alex
