Clock Running Fast
I purchased 8 units this spring for underwater deployment. For the first month and a half, they worked fine but are now all experiencing time drift. When they are plugged in with fresh batteries and SD card reformatted properly, the configuration app shows them running too fast and it is inconsistent how much it skips each time. We have tried different batteries, SD cards, configuration settings, different versions of the configuration and time applications, different firmware downloads, and yet the problem persists. The pop up warning about a fast clock suggests it could be a hardware issue. How do we solve this problem?

Hi Alexandra, Email andy@openacousticdevices.info and he will follow up. He may be away this week. It sounds like corrosion on the boards. When deploying in wet or humid conditions its good to seal up the housing in a nice dry environment and then activate them in the field with the magnet without having to open the housing. Alex
