Frequency reponse

I have found some information about the highend frequency but have not found anything clear about the range. Can audiomoth record from 20hz to 20Khz?

Can I conect an external electret microphone? Has audiomoth plugin power capabilities?

And, when it will be again avaible?

Hi Rafael, If you use the 48kHz sample rate you will be able to record frequencies up to 20kHz. By default AudioMoth has a DC blocking filter with a cut-off frequency of 48Hz. This limits the low frequency response somewhat. From version 1.6.0 of the firmware you can disable this filter in the 'Advanced' pane, and this increases the low frequency sensitivity. This option was included for researchers who are using AudioMoth to record elephant infrasound that goes down to 10Hz. Alex
