Hydromoth Recording Issue

We have been deploying 3x Hydromoths in underwater casing for 1 hour recordings. 2 of the 3 are working fine, but the third seems to record a rhythmic ticking noise (often accompanied by a machine-like/computer processing-like noise), followed by almost a completely silent recording for the remaining time (in Default Mode). The only sounds that can be heard are the occasional ticks, however the other two are detecting sounds from the coral reef very well, demonstrating there is an issue with the recording/detection from the problematic unit. We have tried multiple SD cards - all of which work well in the 2 units functioning properly, but all result in the same issue in the non-working unit. Sample recording attached showing 1) Mentioned noises, and 2) lack of any recording when others are detecting sounds

Any advice would be much appreciated so that we can use all three units. Thank you

Hi Alex, unfortunately I have looked all around for the WAV files, but cant locate them. Only the preview m4a file, as thought the nature of the sounds included would be enough - apologies.

I am now back in Europe (with the unit), in the hope that it might be able to send to you, and to then replace if faulty. This therefore also means I am unable to get more files from it, but not sure if you can analyse any of the interferance/foreign sounds in the original file I sent to perhaps identify there is an issue at least.

Would there be an option for replacing this by sending it back to you?

Thanks
