Audiomoth is losing configuration!
Hello,
This is what I do:
First, I configure the AudioMoth and switch it to USB/off.
Then I disconnect it from the USB port.
Then I close the PC app.
Then I connect it to the PC.
Then I open the PC app.
The AudioMoth is recognized and the voltage is displayed, but the configuration is not read from the device.
I have installed the latest update.
What can I do? Is the device defective?
The device is 1 year old.

Hi, The device is working as intended. The Config App does not read back the configuration from the AudioMoth. This is by design so that you can set up the Config App, and the plug in multiple devices in sequences to configure each one to the same configuration. If you just want to set the time before a deployment without changing the configuration you can use the Time App, or just switch to CUSTOM and use the smartphone app to play the acoustic chime to the AudioMoth whilst the AudioMoth is waiting showing a solid red and flashing green LED (https://www.openacousticdevices.info/led-guide).
