I have 4 Audiomoths: two normal and to USB Audiomoths.

They last about two months, and then NONE of them enumerate anymore. I have debugged in Linux and Windows - they are not being recognized. I have tried re-zapping the firmware - nothing. LEDs work.

Should I just throw these away?

Hi Gil,

It's very unlikely that all four have failed. The most common reason for no communication between the AudioMoth and the computer is that the USB cable is a charging cable and has no data lines. The first thing to do is to double check that the cable allows communication with other devices (or try a few cables).

If that doesn't fix it, can you describe in more detail what happens when you try to reflash the firmare. Is the device recognised by the Flash App? Alex
