Schedule settings
Hello! I have a question about the schedule settings. I need to set up a recording schedule that runs from 10:00 AM one day until 10:00 AM the following day. However, when I enter these times and the start date, the AudioMoth starts recording as soon as midnight passes; I assume this is because midnight falls within the specified time interval. Is there a way to prevent this and ensure recording starts only at the scheduled time, while still maintaining the 24-hour recording duration? Thanks for your help!

Hi, It's not possible to do this directly with the current scheduling tools. However, one way to have the same effect would be by adjusting the time zone. If you want to record from 10:00 UTC one day to 10:00 UTC the next day, set the time zone to UTC-10 and set the schedule to 00:00 (UTC-10) to 24:00 (UTC-10). Set the first and last recording date to the date on which the 10:00 UTC recording should start.
I've never actually tried this in practice but it should work fine. Test it out before deployment to figure out the correct timezone for you deployment. Alex
