Swapping SD cards
for my current project I need to analyze data weekly. Is it possible to swap SD cards in the field without having to reconfigure the unit? The batteries will not need to be removed, so my understanding is the current time should be saved, but I am unsure about the configuration settings. Are they stored on the unit itself, or on the sd card?

Hi Jeff,
The configuration is saved internally alongside the firmware. You can just switch to USB/OFF so the current file is closed correctly, change the SD card, and then switch back to CUSTOM. The recording schedule will then continue from that point.
The configuration is also retained if the batteries are removed. However, in that case the AudioMoth will lose the time, and when you switch back to custom it will show a solid red and flashing green LED as it is waiting for you to play the chime from the smartphone app to set the time.
You can also use the Time App to just set the time and leave the current configuration unchanged.
