Device recorded less time than expected
Hi,
Has anyone got the same error?
I set the device (SR: 48KHz, SD: 4 min, RD: 1 min, all day) to record for at least 28 days but it only recorded for about 14 days.
Checking the files. I have some 1KB recordings. Could it be because of the batteries? I used Energizer Max Alkaline AA 1.5V

Yes. If you use the 'Summarise AudioMoth Files' option under the 'Process' menu in the Config App you'll see that the battery voltage has probably ran right down and hte short files are reporting SD card write errors as a result. What make and model of SD card were you using. The Config App calculates the energy consumption assuming a 32GB SanDisk Extreme card, but many cards have much higher energy consumpion.
