Do audiomoths account for daylight savings?
Last year I set out some audiomoths in the week before the clocks went forward in Spring. Would I need to adjust the audiofile time stamps to account for this change, or will the device do this based on its set GPS location? (i.e. does it know to change the time stamp itself?)

Hi Laura, The AudioMoth won't update to summer time. It will keep running in the same UTC offset that was set when it was configured. The shape files required to determine which timezone a GPS locaton belongs to, and then the information that maps the summer time rules for each timezone, are typically too large for embedded devices. The time stamps in the files will record the correct UTC offset, so the filenames can be converted to summer time or any other offset if necessary. Alex
