What are the use cases for the USB AudioMoth?
I'm lacking some imagination here, ha. I just played around with the new USB AudioMoth, plugged into a laptop, and got fine results recording birds from my porch. But I could have used other USB mics, and I monitored it on Audacity, which so far seems like it'd be pretty analogous to the AudioMoth Live app.
What are the use cases for the USB AudioMoth that are different from a computer + any other good USB mic?

Yep. Lots of people are using the bare AudioMoth USB Microphone as a USB soundcard for Raspberry Pi or Jetson Nano single-board computers when making a smart acoustic sensor. Either using the inbuilt MEMS microphone or plugging in an external microphone or hydrophone. Most hydrophones and electret capsule microphones have the signal connected to the tip of the 3.5mm jack plug (which is what AudioMoth USB Microphone and AudioMoth expects), while most computers expect the microphone to be on the second ring, with the tip and first ring being the left and right headset speaker. The AudioMoth USB Microphone and AudioMoth also provide an appropriate bias voltage to the microphone to power its internal amplifier - called plug-in-power. Sometimes computers have a 'line input' that doesn't supply this power.
