Whenever I set my Audiomoth to custom and describe the time period and date, the green is flashing while the red is solid, but nothing records. But whenever I set it to default, it works.

Hi, A solid red and a flashing green LED means that the AudioMoth is listening for the chime from the smartphone app before it can start following the configured schedule. This is because, either (i) the time has not been set, or (ii) the AudioMoth has been configured with the the 'Always require acoustic chime on switching to CUSTOM' option allowed. If you play the chime from the smart phone app, it will set the time, and start recording normally. Alex
