Hi. I hope all is well. I bench tested a couple of Audiomoth units connected to a power bank. I set up the recording schedule (attached) and everything was recording well. After around two days of almost continued recording with the programmed schedule. A pattern emerged every few recordings were shorter and then back to what was programmed. Please advise on these issue as it happened with several units and how to prevent it. Thank you

Hi Carlos, In this case, it is taking more than 5 seconds to close and open a new file, so the AudioMoth is late starting the recording and then cuts the recording short so that it always ends on the scheduled time. This may be because the file allocation table is getting filled. Always reformat, rather than just deleting files, as some operating systems will just hide the files rather than clearing the file allocation table. However, in this case, I suspect it is just down to the large number of files being written to the SD card. As the number of files on the SD card increases it takes longer to update the file allocation table when the file is closed and opened. If you use the 'Use daily folder for generated WAV file' option in the 'Advanced' pane of the configuration, there is no accumulation of delays across days, which should fix the problem.
