I have been carrying out surveys for my local bat group using AudioMoths and a Song Meter 2; and batch processing WAV files using Kaleidoscope version 5.4.2 to filter out noise files.
The process works without issue for WAV files captured by the SM2 (using the same default signal parameters); however, no WAV or ZC files are created in the output folder when batch processing WAV files captured by the AudioMoths, despite using the same default signal parameters.
The log file generated state the WAV files are incompatable. Is there an issue with version 5.4.2 or am I doing something obviously wrong?
Kaleidoscope 5.3.9 also works - however I don't think that there is much difference between 5.3.8 and 5.3.9
All Kaleidoscope versions are available at Wildlife Acoustics web site. You'll need to set an account (free) then you'll have access to the download pages.
If it has never been used on your computer, it will be eligible for a trial full pro license (2 weeks, I think).
