Audiomoth Dev not connecting

in Device Support

My audiomoth dev is not recognized by the application AudioMoth config.

I can't program it, what is the problem ?

Hi, What operating system are you using? Nearly all connection problems turn out to be due to the USB cable being a charging cable and not having the correct data lines. Double-check the cable first. Alex

I'm having the same problem. What do you mean by using the correct cable? What is the correct cable? I looked everywhere for some direction on the cord I should be using but couldn't find anything.

Hi Carl,

Some USB cables are only charging cables and have no data lines inside. These typically aren’t marked as the standard didn’t really anticipate their existence. In the first instance try another cable that you know allows data transfer.
