The device was kept in a tree with the same bag that came with the audiomoth. Due to heavy rain, the cover had small amount of water. I removed it and kept it to dry and rechecked it, the device was showing red and green light and also was perfectly normal while configuring. But after Ive kept it for another small session for checking the audio, the recorded audio file was full noise.
