High-pitch noise after installing GPS board

Hi everyone,

I installed the GPS board that on an Audiomoth 1.2, and after that, the entire WAV file is a high-pitch note. Any idea what could be causing that?

Hi Sam, Is the GPS board working? Does it acquire a fix? Can you post a picture of the AudioMoth and one of the WAV files. If you are using the standard firmware the GPS board should be powered down during recordings so it would be unusual for it to generate interference. Alex

I was testing the audiomoth in the lab. I guess other electronics interfered and the recording wasn't good. Once I tested the devices outiside the lab, they worked properly.

Do you know if a guide for the instalation of the GPS board hat is available?

Great. Sometime power supplies and monitors can generate a significant amount of high-frequency noise. We've seem wifi routers generate interference as well.
