I just recovered my Audiomoth from location (first use) and discovered that the batteries were no longer in contact due to a bent holder. I did not notice this when installing the batteries but it must have happened fairly soon after as I have no recordings from the session.

My new Audiomoth did not come with a battery holder. The previous ones did. How do I get one?
I have also had a fault with the battery holder - with a crack or failure of the join between one end and a side (back, right corner on the image posted above; thank you hedwri). The batteries are not held securely enough to retain settings. I've tried gluing this, but unsuccessfully. Any thoughts welcome on fixing or replacing this. Many thanks.
FYI, my battery compartment is warped as well, I noticed it today, but the device is still recording. Hard to say when it has warped, but certainly it was not when I got it. The device has probably been in the morning sun occasionally, in Finland in summer, without any enclosure or sometimes with a plastic bag. If the batter holder is as easy to change as it looks, I may try to do it myself if needed...
Hi Danny, Should be easy enough to fix, could you send me an email? andy@openacousticdevices.info.
Think I might have the same issue @Alex Rogers. Retrived and was quite bowed (has settled a little now after a few days without batteries in, but still not recognising batteries). It had stopped recording a few days previous despite batteries still having charge. FWIW it had been quite a warm period (~100F). Happy to pay for it to be repaired / follow instructions if it is simple enough.
Yes, that looks very bowed. Can you remember if it was like that before you deployed it? What were the deployment conditions? Where did this device come from?
It's easy to replace the battery holder and they are easy to get hold of. Where are you based?
