Hello, I want to use AudioMoth 1.2.0v as a USB-microphone linked with PC, but my PC couldn't recognize AudioMoth device as an audio system but only USB device. I think I need to add new driver, but I couldn't find out.
I also tried other PCs, but all PC recognized the device as a USB, not in audio system - so I wonder is there any possible way to fix this?
Hi there,
In order to use your AudioMoth as a USB microphone you first need to apply the USB microphone firmware. To do so, download the AudioMoth Flash App then from the menu select "AudioMoth USB Microphone". Download the latest firmware version and click "Flash AudioMoth".
Now, when you set your AudioMoth to CUSTOM it should appear as a USB microphone.
