Hi, I am trying to initialise my AudioMoth using Windows 10, but I keep getting an error "Could not open file" at the final stage when I enter "flash.exe COM4 Audiomoth.bin" in the command line. Any ideas?
I was having the same problems as yo. I got the correct firmware download functioning when I renamed the .bin file. I changed mine to AudioMoth.bin from AudioMoth.1.1.0.bin
Hi, I've just received my audiomoth, but can't download the config app. I get the following response when clicking the download link: This site can’t provide a secure connection github-production-release-asset-2e65be.s3.amazonaws.com sent an invalid response. Can anyone look into this? Thanks
I was trying to implement a setting where i can just record bats and no other animals like crickets(insect) and all. Is there a possible way to change it in the firmware?
Hello, I have been lent two audiomoths by my phd supervisor for my study. I have followed all setup instructions and when I run the configuration, the time does not go black, but remains greyed out. Having searched through this forum, I thought it might have been a USB issue, so I purchased a usb data cable specifically. No dice, I'm afraid. I thought perhaps they are old and needed new firmware, and I have successfully flashed both devices with 1.2.2. The configuration app is still not recognising the units when I plug them in. I have been through the instructions meticulously. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? (Presumably this is a user error since it is happening to both units?) Thanks!
Hi there,
Have you made sure that AudioMoth.bin is in the same directory as flash.exe?
Peter
Yes I have. But I have just noticed that the downloaded firmware is in a file named AudioMoth1.1.0.bin, not AudioMoth.bin.
So ... I'm guessing that it's a simple mismatch of filenames and I either have to rename the file or modify the command?
Hello Lyndon,

Thanks Andy, I'll give that a try.
