Hi there, I have been playing around with the Audiomoth configuration app and it doesn't seem obvious to me a way to set up custom recording to record continuously. In my situation, I want to treat the Audiomoth as a more traditional microphone that starts recording when I hit on and stops when I switch it to off. However, I am also in a situation where I need to keep the clocks synced between a couple of devices. So I am thinking that the best approach would be to flash the device to a scheduler that will not start recording in custom when I switch it to custom. Take advantage of the Chime app to sync the clocks of multiple devices. From there, I can switch them all over to Default and be fairly confident with the timestamps. Would there be an easier suggested workflow to accomplish this?

Another approach is to set a 24 hour schedule from 00:00 to 00:00, uncheck 'Enable sleep/record cyclic recording' and check 'Always require acoustic chime on switching to CUSTOM'.
When you switch to CUSTOM, the AudioMoth will require you to set the time with the Chime, and will then make continous recordings, limited by the maximum WAV file size of 4.3GB. The files will also stop and start at 00:00 each day. If you don't want the stopping and starting at 00:00 each day, after setting the time in CUSTOM, switch back to DEFAULT to make the recording. These files will just be limited by the 4.3GB WAV file size limit. Alex
