Thanks Alex. Upon a closer inspection, this appears to be natural sounds only (I stretched the spectrogram horizontally and you can see repetitive patterns each second). Shall keep you posted in case I encounter an issue like the one described above.

Here are two screenshots from different times of the day: As far as I can recall, maybe of these devices was close to a wifi router when I was testing it before deployment. However, these recordings are coming from a dense rainforest fragment and I shouldn't be seeing those lines (well atleast not during the day, when insects are not vocalizing).

Follow up: Could this be because of recorders being placed next to one another? (As weird as that might sound, since someone had an issue with interference)

@Alex Rogers Thanks a ton Alex. I suppose I could always go back to using the firmware ver 1.3 (the latest one), using the flash app right? This is in case I would like to use a different recording period?

@Alex Rogers Thanks Alex! Yes, that will definitely work. I am happy with sleep = 1 min as well for the data to be written to the SD card well (I recently had issues with vertical lines when using 5-min continuous recordings with a San Disk Extreme UHS-3 as prescribed). Time zone is for India: UTC + 5:30 I believe. Would it be possible to send me two custom firmware files? - One with med gain as mentioned earlier and one with high gain? (I want to test both of them out in my field sites). I really appreciate the quick response!

Hi Alex, Could you provide a custom firmware that will perform the recording schedule as mentioned below: 6am to 6pm; Recording: 5 min; Sleep: 0 min; 48kHz - sampling rate, Med Gain 6pm to 6am: Recording: 5 min; Sleep: 0 min; 256kHz - sampling rate, Med Gain.

Hi Thomas, any updates on the effectiveness of the buzzer acoustic membranes? Did humidity cause any issues?
