I found your GitHub page and I am guessing with regards to sending data out you use one of these APIs? The other projects are firmware related? https://github.com/OpenAcousticDevices/AudioMoth-HID https://github.com/OpenAcousticDevices/USB-HID-Tool Can you or anyone else recommend any node.js or other libraries that work well with these APIs to be able to send the audio packets and decode them? The other option I have is to use a raspi and just take the hit on power consumption design. It may allow me to use higher level software skills, rather than dive deep. But I like the elegance of the audiomoth. :) Im curious, Where do you see the sweet spot for audiomoth in comparison to a raspi?
