@Andy I have solved my problem. It seems one of the links had me download the old firmware inadvertently. This may have not been working with the newest version of the windows application and causing the above issue. Re-flashing the firmware with 1.1.0 fixed the issue. Recording starts and stops as programmed. Thanks for your support.

Nevermind I found them on Github, I was having trouble locating them.

@Andy I took a working moth and flashed firmware 1.1.0 and it made it start acting as I have stated above. Making me believe these were shipped with a different version firmware from groupgets. Can I get access to some of the old firmware to try. I am trying to find out what funding round we purchased these.

@Andy I have one from group gets and a different one. They are both acting the same way.

I got it to make the correct amount of files but they are all still cutting off right away.

yes they all corrupt I tried putting the sample rate all the way down on the 32gb cards as well.

Andy, I have tried the following cards: SanDisk Extreme 32gb SanDisk Ultra 64gb SanDisk Ultra 128gb Patriot 32gb I tried formatting the cards from windows with command line diskpart and also with the guiformat application. I also tried formatting the cards from a mac computer. All were formatted to FAT32. I am still having the recordings corrupt after fractions of a second.
