Hi Shawn, we don't have any "clicking" at these frequencies. We have set out device to record at 0-16 kHz. Hope you will find a way to resolve this issue. Good luck.

@David Singer Hi David, 1) 3 hours per day between 6 AM and 9 AM during 14 Noe-15 Feb. The sampling rate was set at 16 kHz. Our devices were placed in a very open wetlands habitats under very strong winds, low temp. In the forest might be a bit better and you can save some energy. 3) SanDisk Extreme® microSDHC™ 32 GB. Hi there, I have managed to withdraw part of the devices from the field. All of them safely, no losses. Perfect recordings. The batteries managed to resist appr. 90 days. The problem is with the membranes. Almost all of them were punched. We suppose that due to the freezing temperature over the winter, the membranes were frozen and then when the temperatures rise they got punched. Attached is one photo.

@alessia portaccio Hi there, Yes, I am verifying on monthly basis the controlled device attached at the terrace of my office. Already, 83 days without any interruption. I still have memory in the card for another 21 days. Battery voltage, 4.6 V at 0.5 C aver. temp. for the period Nov-Jan 2019. Clear sounds even with membrane. I can distinguish clearly some common bird species, rooks, jackdaws, sparrows, noise from cars, etc. Hopefully, my devices on the study areas are performing in the same manner as the controlled one. Probably, battery consumption might be slightly bigger due to temperatures much lower than 0.5 C, but I am still happy. My desired minimum level of 70 working days is already achieved. Hi there, Careful research of all available audio recorders concluded that the AudioMoth are the best option for our study which is part of a project targeting the conservation of the Red-breasted Goose in Romania. The objective of the study is to evaluate the hunting pressure and poaching accidents within the most important protected areas for this species in Romania. We would like to order 40 items.
