Hi, I set an AM recording using a band-pass filter (see config file below) 0.9 - 3.4 khz, with a 5% amplitude trigger (I hoped this would mean that it would record events above a 5% threshold within the 0.9 - 3.4 range. However, the files produced are from 0 - 8 khz as if no band-pass filter was set, and it appears to be triggering on audio events at any frequency (up to 8khz). Anyone know what's gone wrong? Just wondered whether there is benefit in switching the LEDs off? I think I'm right that they keep flashing for the duration of the deployment, so if you're leaving the AudioMoth in the field for two months for example, is it advantageous to switch off the LEDs?

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of deploying multiple AudioMoths (separated by some distance, was thinking 100 m apart) to localise sound sources? Wasn't sure if clock drift would be a problem on the AudioMoths, or the degree of accuracy to which the clocks could be synchronised. Cheers, David

Hi, just wondered if people had used the AudioMoths in the IPX7 facing directly upwards - it looks to me like water could pool around the microphone hole with it facing up - has anyone had this problem, or modified the design slightly to address this? Thanks, David
