"Failed to open port" error
In Flashing support

Hi Peter, So my PC either didn't generate the logs, moved them, or stored them somewhere else. If I go to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\AudioMoth-Flash there isn't a logs subfolder: And if I search the AudioMoth-Flash folder for "log" only these three very small files pop up (stored in Local Storage\leveldb):

For what it's worth, a colleague working on the same project had no trouble using the Flash App, though she used a Mac rather than PC. Unfortunately we're not in the same location or we could swap laptops and see if the issue was user error all along.

Hah, thanks! Always nice to leave a good Google trail for the next person (borrowed from XKCD #979):

Hi Alex, Thanks very much for your help. Running the command line instruction with the proper notation you provided (flash -u COM4 1.4.0.bin) worked. With regards to the Flash App, following the "LED are not flashing" steps give me the same error as before. I'm able to go through each step until I press "Flash Audiomoth" and the port error appears. As I've had success flashing the devices via command line, I'd consider my issue solved. Appreciate it!
