I wanted to use these devices to get dB changes but would I also need a sound pressure meter?

They will be used to monitor traffic noise along a road to compare to wildlife interactions with the roadway and crossing structures. They also need to be able to ideally last 2 weeks at a time for storage (64 GB) and battery life.
