Hi Akshay, I'm going to email you with the updated app shortly. It would be good to get your feedback and make sure it works fine on your machine too. The issue was basically just the version of Electron the apps were built with. They were still using quite an outdated version which until recently worked fine on Linux. The best way to set a frequency trigger is by getting a recording of your target file and loading it up in the Filter Playground: https://www.openacousticdevices.info/filter-playground Once in the Playground you can experiment with different settings and see on the plots exactly what features in the audio would trigger your device. Once you have a configuration you're happy with, export the .config file and load it in the Configuration App to apply to your devices!

Hi Christine, The Windows installer available on our website was accidentally the 64-bit version. This has been fixed now. Redownload it to obtain the 32-bit version. May I ask what operating system you're running? It's extremely uncommon to come across a machine running a non 64-bit version of Windows nowadays. Peter Open Acoustic Devices

At the cost of a small amount of noise on the recordings, energy saver mode can be enabled for sample rates 48 kHz or less to reduce energy consumption. A full explanation of what it's doing is available in the manual here.

When we released the firmware we noticed a small bug so quickly updated the firmware to fix it. You managed to download the firmware in this window when the old version was downloadable. To fix it, click File -> Open Downloads Folder or press Control + O (on Windows). In the folder which opens, delete 1.6.0.bin. Close and reopen the app, then download the latest firmware.

Hi Agus, Currently there's no way to pull the current configuration from an AudioMoth. However, when you apply a configuration to an AudioMoth, there are two ways to tell it's worked: first, the Configure AudioMoth will briefly go green when the process is successful and second, if the attached device does not have the clock set (it believes it is 01/01/1970) then applying the configuration through the app will also update the device's clock to the current time. If the clock at the top of the app window is now correct, the configuration has been sent. Hope that helps, Peter

Hey everyone, in response to your feedback we've re-enabled sleep periods of less than 5 seconds. There's a warning informing you that performance will vary based on the speed of your SD card, but you'll be able to use sub-5 second sleep periods again. Check it out here

Hi everyone, the 5 second minimum is to give each recording time to close the file. The amount of time required to do this varies depending on the speed of the SD card used, so 5 seconds covers all bases. If you don't want to miss any audio, you can switch off the sleep period altogether and files will be created the length of each scheduled period. Peter Open Acoustic Devices

Hi, just following up about the flash app. We have a log file which could shed a bit more light on the issue. On Windows it can be found at: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\AudioMoth-Flash\logs\audiomoth_flash.log It's likely to be quite a long file, so pastebin might be required to share the contents. Peter
