GPS hat problems?
Is there any possibility that a bad batch of GPS hats were shipped? I bought three; one powered up with appropriate LED flashes for one programming/recording cycle, then failed. The other two do not power up at all. I checked my soldering and the voltage at the supply pads, everything looks good.
Note that I am well experienced with that particular GPS receiver, the CDtop PA1616S, in other settings and forms, especially the Adafruit Ultimate GPS version. I had not used it in the form of the Audiomoth GPS hat before. PA1616S
The recorders themselves are very nice, thank you for supplying them.

Hi David,
Did you use the AudioMoth GPS Sync App to generate the _SYNC.WAV files okay?
--Yes, for two of the three units.
Check the soldering on the A7 GPIO pin of the third AudioMoth. The pin should be high normally and then you should see it pulled low when the AudioMoth wants to turn the GPS module on.
--I will verify that this evening.
If the MOSFET is okay you should see 3.0V on pin one of the GPS module when the AudioMoth attempts to power it up. If you jumper 3.0V directly to pin 1 of the GPS module it should also power up and the red LED should start flashing.
--I will verify that this evening.
Thanks again.
